Desktop Support Technician Full Time | OnSite | Intermediate Level

Position Overview

A skilled Desktop Support Technician is needed to provide both in‑person and remote technical assistance to end users. This role requires strong customer service skills, hands‑on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to support a wide range of desktop hardware and software. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicative, and comfortable working in environments that may require physical tasks such as lifting equipment or working in less‑than‑ideal positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop support for end users, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices.
  • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a Windows‑based environment.
  • Support users both remotely and onsite, maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach.
  • Perform device imaging, deployment, and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues and escalate when needed.
  • Document work in a ticketing system and follow established support procedures.
  • Assist with peripheral support, including printers and related equipment.
  • Lift and transport equipment as required and work in physically demanding positions when necessary.
  • Build strong working relationships with end users and collaborate effectively with team members.
Required Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of hands‑on desktop support or technical support experience.
  • Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop systems.
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting multiple operating systems.
  • Familiarity with device imaging and deployment processes.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and service desk workflows.
  • Understanding of account administration and user access support.
  • Strong teamwork and relationship‑building skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
