Responsibilities:
Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to:

• Care of critically ill patients

• Airway Management- basic and advanced

• Pain Management

• Cardiac Monitoring

• Cardiac Care

• Post-operative vascular surgery care/Recovery

• Neurological, neurovascular, orthopedic care

• Gastrointestinal care

• Pulmonary/respiratory care

• Genitourinary/renal care

• Enteral Nutrition

• Skin assessment/care

• Central Venous catheter care and maintenance

• Specialized IV Drips/Titration

• Medication administration

• Information Management

• IV Therapy

• IVADD

• Transfusion Therapy

• Invasive Monitoring

• Waive Testing

• Sedation

• Assist with specialized procedures

• Use specialized equipment in the care of critically ill patients

• Manages Code Blue in the May Tower/Pediatrics

• Admission/discharge criteria

• Troubleshooting

• Infection Control

• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy

• Manages Code Blue for inpatient areas

• Attends all mandatory education and in-service
