This position has many opportunities for Accounting Majors that can include but are not limited to:

  • Reconciling General Ledger Accounts.
  • Assisting in processing accounts receivable payments.
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Performing monthly General Ledger Journal Entries.
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable invoice entry and payment process.
  • Assisting with collecting payments, closing out tills, and preparing cash receipts vouchers.
Qualifications

APPLICANTS MUST BE A FULL‑TIME STUDENT AT AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OR TECHNICAL INSTITUTE WHILE SERVING AS THE INTERN. Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed their second or third year of college pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Knowledge of accounting practices and balancing general journal entries is required; skill in performing basic mathematical calculations; skill in utilizing a personal computer and various accounting and word processing software programs;

skill in operating such office equipment as a computer, calculator, copier, skill in oral and written communication, skill in analytical and accounting technical skills, skill in critical thinking; ability to organize and coordinate activities; ability to make timely and accurate decisions and be detail oriented and self‑motivated.
