Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50 (may have an additional shift differential)

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down machines properly.
• Consistently and safely operate machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack-related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective equipment and devices as required, following STW documentation or proper training.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Contribute to a team effort.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

Welder I – Entry level

Welder II – 3-5 years of relevant work experience
