Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality Engineering
MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our client, Magna Decostar, in Piedmont, SC. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives at the Greenville Sequencing Center, ensuring process excellence and operational efficiency. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- OR Associate’s degree with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience
Education and Experience
- At least five (5) years of manufacturing experience
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and statistical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes;
AutoCAD experience preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read automotive blueprints and engineering specifications
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, SPC, MSA, and GR&R preferred
- Familiarity with automation control systems (PLCs, Robots, Vision Systems) preferred
- Strong math and SPC skills
- Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
Job Duties

- Travel frequently to satellite facilities as needed
Job Duties
- Follow all Decostar Industries health and safety policies and procedures
- Attend all required job and safety training
- Operate machinery only after completing documented training
- Participate in accident investigations, audits, and inspections
- Avoid bypassing or modifying safety systems
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, behaviors, accidents, or near-misses
- Complete safety checklists before operating equipment
- Lead and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Learn products and processes in supported areas
- Conduct elemental time studies as needed
- Lead Kaizen events with cross-functional teams
- Gather and evaluate continuous improvement ideas from team members
- Communicate actions taken on submitted ideas
- Visit other Magna facilities to identify best practices
- Assist in MAGNA Winning Teams submissions and coordinate related activities
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
- Participate in department meetings and complete required documentation
- Submit cost reduction and innovation ideas
- Engage in continuous improvement programs to meet departmental goals
- Perform duties within Decostar’s Supplier Quality Manual and ISO/TS 16949 guidelines
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the GSC Operations Manager
- Position is based in a manufacturing environment at the Greenville Sequencing Center
- Frequent travel to satellite facilities required
- Ability to stand or walk for up to nine (9) hours per day
- Ability to sit for up to eight (8) hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on an infrequent basis
- Requires good close‑range vision
