Chief People Officer

The ideal candidate is analytical, steady, and socially approachable, maintaining a calm, grounded presence even when navigating complex or high‑pressure situations. This position is well‑suited for a visionary leader with a direct, factual communication style; a high level of patience, and the mental stamina required to manage a role characterized by significant responsibility, frequent interactions, and occasional disruptions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead people strategy, culture, and leadership development
• Provide executive oversight of HR compliance and risk
• Support CARF accreditation and regulatory readiness
• Oversee talent strategy, performance management, and engagement
• Lead and develop the HR leadership team
• Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership on workforce planning

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Strong executive presence and employment law expertise
• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or social services preferred
• Strategic, people-centered, and values-driven leadership style
• This position could work from Pickerington or Zanesville Ohio
