The AZ Driver will be responsible for operating equipment related to the position, including tanker trailers, van trailers, vacuum units, roll‑off trailers, and B‑trains.
Main Responsibilities- Follow the operations manual for the assigned position
- Implement Regulation 347 and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) policies as presented
- Complete all paperwork, including manifests, driver logs, and any required reports
- Complete dispatched tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Communicate to competent persons any abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace, or other
- Wear required safety personal protective equipment, work safely, and observe all safety procedures
- Grade 12 diploma
- AZ driver’s licence
- Must be able to read, write, and count
- Experience with paperwork such as driver manifest, disposal loads, time sheets, and preparation
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Mechanical aptitude
- Organized and able to work with established procedures, guidelines, and under immediate supervision
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
- Team‑oriented
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and driving test
- Ability to work at heights and excellent physical condition
Permanent full‑time position. Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10 hours per day, 50 hours per week).
SalaryStarting wage of $28.96 per hour, increasing to $32.18 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period (640 hours). Competitive benefits package included.
