The Quality Assurance Coordinator is located in Pickering or Bowmanville and typically reports directly to the Quality Assurance Director. This is a vital support role within the Quality Assurance department as a central hub for departmental support functions. This position contributes significantly to the continuous improvement processes and is dedicated to maintaining the highest service quality excellence.
Duties And Responsibilities- Assist the QA Manager with any coordination activities as necessary.
- Contact vendors and acquire valid documentation for maintenance of the company’s Approved Suppliers List (ASL) and assist in maintaining the company’s ASL.
- Ensure quality documentation and records are organized for quality program audits.
- Maintain Audit & Distribution Logs.
- Provide clerical support in the development of QA Manuals and procedures and official issues for use.
- Maintain Qualification Records for Inspection & Test Personnel.
- Generate and maintain process charts.
- Control documents such as Standard Quality Forms and Standard Quality Procedures.
- Assist new hires with setup – communicate with IT in setting up computers, email, workstations and IDs.

- A secondary education diploma would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience.
- Previous quality assurance experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience in the nuclear industry considered an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Extremely detail‑oriented.
- Must be motivated, self‑directed, able to work with deadlines.
- OPG Security Clearance requirements.
- Position may require travel to various work site locations (Domestic).

The expected salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $60,000. The starting salary will be based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and overall competencies. Salary is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package. Total rewards vary by position and may include additional offerings such as group insurance benefits, pension plan, annual performance bonus, and career development programs.
