Our client is a leading provider in the HVAC/R industry, supporting North American markets with innovative solutions and a strong commercial presence. They operate across major verticals including distribution, manufacturing, product development, and aftermarket services.
Prime Hires is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support our client’s Canadian business operations.
Contract Period: Permanent Salary: $100-125K + compensation package Location: Pickering, ON Location Type: On-site / Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:- Lead all Canadian marketing initiatives to support business objectives while ensuring alignment with U.S. marketing strategy and product commercialization timelines.
- Localize and execute marketing plans tailored to the Canadian market, including messaging, positioning, promotions, and customer-facing collateral.
- Develop high-impact marketing assets such as sell sheets, presentations, digital content, and sales tools customized for Canadian HVAC/R customers.
- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Canadian trade shows and events, ensuring consistent brand representation.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including localized website content, social media activity, and email marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the Canadian HVAC/R landscape.
- Partner closely with the Canadian Sales Team to understand customer needs and develop targeted marketing tactics to support acquisition, retention, and share growth.
- Manage budget planning and ongoing oversight for Canadian marketing projects and initiatives.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with all relevant Canadian regulations, including packaging, labeling, advertising standards, and bilingual (English/French) requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 6–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in packaged goods or B2B industries
- Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle product launches
- Proven ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, tradeshow, social, email)
- Hands‑on experience coordinating and managing trade shows
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools; experience with Hub Spot, Catsy, or Wrike considered an asset
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and budgets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker, proactive, detail‑oriented, and highly collaborative
Role Requirements:
- Travel required:
0–15% - Ability to lift 10–25 lbs on occasion
- Regular interaction with Sales, U.S. Marketing, Customer Service, Executive Leadership, vendors, and distribution partners
