Maintenance Manager

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Maintenance Manager in Pickering, ON for their packaging facility.

$130-$150k

• Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team (mechanics, electricians, technicians)
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and reliability initiatives
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and KPIs (downtime, MTBF, costs)

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or packaging
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Experience in packaging equipment (converting, corrugate, flexo, printing, etc.)
• Knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
