What is the Opportunity?Aecon is under contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to carry out the Turbine Generator Refurbishment at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. WhatYou'll Do Here
- Participate in review and execution of the Construction Inspection and Test Plans
- Perform quality inspection in accordance with the related codes and customer specifications.
- Dimensional inspections
- Visual electrical inspecting
- General Inspections, Torquing, FME, etc.
- Documentation review
- Receiving inspecting
- Positive material identification
- Review of Certified Material Test Reports as required
- Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections
- Participate in the development and maintenance of a cost of quality tracking system
- Tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level
- Electrical Red Seal (preferred)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Warehouse and Clean Room would be considered an asset

Pay Range: $40-50 per hour
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
