Electrical Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work effectively with schematics.

Due to the location of the site you must be able to drive and use your own transport (car, van etc.)

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
• Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues.
• Assembling electronic subassemblies from schematic diagrams.
• Wiring, soldering, testing, repairing PC boards
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become critical.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any necessary follow-up actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
• Must be able to drive and have your own transport due to location of site
• Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics.
• A valid electrical qualification or certification is preferred e.g. 17th or 18th Edition, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree (BTEC, NVQ, City and Guilds, Degree etc.)
