Our client, a forward thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing practice in Moorgate, London. The role will involve being responsible for a varied portfolio of clients including owner managed businesses, international business and large limited companies across a broad range of industries. You will play a vital part in carrying out audits from planning through to completion at client premises, delivering quality audits within budget and on time, allocating and reviewing jobs, reporting outcomes and highlighting any risks, together with regular contact and meetings with clients.

You will also supervise a small team of staff, providing support and on the job training where required. You will ideally have at least 4-5 years UK audit experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA, as well as possessing a good technical knowledge of FRS
102, FRS
102A and IFRS. An understanding of consolidation of large or complex group audits and ISA
600 would also be helpful, together with accounts preparation and corporation tax.

Experience of Case Ware, CCH, XERO and Microsoft Word and Excel would also be an advantage. You may also be asked to spend at least 1 or 2 days in the firms other office in Colindale from time to time.
