Stoke Central Job Type: Full-time Join our dedicated team in Stoke on Trent as an Accountant, where we value commitment and hard work. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in accountancy within a supportive and dynamic environment. Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare VAT returns and bookkeeping services using Xero or Quickbooks from incomplete client records. Prepare business and statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards. Prepare corporation and personal tax returns. Liaise with clients on matters arising and advise on personal and tax liabilities. Supervise and support junior colleagues in their tasks. Qualifications:

Familiarity with preparing statutory accounts. Proficient in bookkeeping. Basic knowledge of corporation tax. Some audit experience is preferred but not essential. Strong IT skills, including Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Confidence with accounting software, preferably CCH. Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed. Excellent communication skills and a team player. Professional and organised. Benefits:
