PositionGifted Potentials is seeking a reliable and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part‑time Community Participation Support (CPS) case in PHOENIXVILLE, PA.
It is preferred that the DSP lives in Phoenixville or the immediate surrounding area. This role supports an adult with developmental disabilities by promoting community inclusion, employment readiness, purposeful activity, and personal empowerment.
Schedule25 CPS hours per week
Daytime shifts required
Weekend availability required
Consistent weekly commitment required
Immediate hire
Compensation$20 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized Community Participation Support (CPS) in the community.
Promote independence, employment readiness, and skill development.
Support participation in community outings, recreational activities, and structured programming.
Encourage social engagement and healthy peer interactions.
Foster confidence, decision‑making skills, and personal accountability.
Support emotional regulation and positive coping strategies in community settings.
Maintain dignity, safety, and inclusion at all times.
Use person‑centered and trauma‑informed approaches.
Complete accurate and timely service documentation.
Communicate consistently with supervisors and the care team.
RequirementsMust be reliable and committed to consistently working 25 hours per week.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide structured, supportive guidance.
Understanding of HCBS standards, person‑centered supports, and HIPAA preferred.
