Job Summary
Work Schedule: ON CALL ONLY starting Friday at 3P-Monday didate will be paid 40 hours regardless if they worked 40 hours or less.
Candidate must live within 45 minutes of the hospital.
Responsibilities- Assists surgeons working interdependently and under their direction.
- Functions include, but are not limited to preoperative skin preparation, positioning the patient, draping the patient, providing homeostasis, providing exposure, properly handling tissue, properly using instruments, suturing, cleaning surgical area and application of dressings, and other duties as requested by the surgeon that fall within the scope of licensure.
- Performs surgical preparatory procedures (i.e. Foley catheter insertion).
- Assists in transporting the patient postoperatively and communicates information to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).

Qualifications
Education Requirements- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Minimum 2-3 years of First Assist experience in multiple specialties, including robotics, vascular/endo-vascular, spine and orthopedics Required
- PA Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) or CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification
