Order Selector

Overview

Day Warehouse Selectors are part of the US Foods warehouse team. This role supports selecting, packing, and delivering customer orders in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. Compensation depends on experience and/or education, skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The base rate range for this role is $26.22 to $30.67 per hour.

• START TIMES: 8am and 11am
• Sunday - Friday availability
• Saturdays off
• Work until finished

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that the correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, remove empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment from
  -5 to over 100 degrees.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases per shift.

• Ability to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, participate in safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information as needed.
• Ability to work 8+ hour shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday; weekends and holidays may be required.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high-endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred.
