General Laborers - Worksite

Hot Foot Recruiters is excited to partner with a global construction company to hire multiple Construction General Labors. This role is ideal for individuals with construction experience, cherry pick forklift operation skills, and a strong work ethic. The General Laborers will be responsible for handling materials on construction sites, including receiving, loading/unloading, transporting, and operating material handling equipment.

General Labor - Construction Site
Location: North Phoenix
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 630A-330P (Sat OT sometime)
Hours will change to 5AM start in the summer.
Type: Long-Term Contract (renew every 6 months)
Pay Rate: $25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of material handling equipment (MHE) and vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including telehandlers and forklifts.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual material handling as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and must wear safety boots.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate an electric pallet jack for material movement.
• Receive and verify incoming materials against documents.
• Pick and prepare outbound deliveries with accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction REQUIRED - it's rough working condition during the summer.
• Inventory management systems experience is a PLUS.
• At least 1 year of tele-handler experience with construction cherry picker, etc. is a MUST.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail when picking and packing orders.
• Experience with material inspections and quality checks.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• 1 year of warehouse forklift operation
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
