Hazmat Fuel Tanker Driver

Overview

We are looking for safe and courteous Class A truck drivers with a minimum of 2 years of tanker experience. We offer competitive pay, good benefits and a stable company that values its employees. Safety is our number one priority, and our fleet consists entirely of company‑owned trucks that are maintained on a strict schedule. No owner‑operators are employed by Cool Transports.

• Complete a daily truck log via the electronic logging device.
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself accordingly.
• Conduct daily inspections (DVIRs) of the vehicle at the end of each shift and report any problems or damage via the electronic logging device.
• Comply with all DOT and in‑house regulations and rules.
• Pick up petroleum products from the loading rack and deliver them to the customer location in an efficient and safe manner.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A driver’s license in good standing.
• 2 years of verifiable petroleum experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Must have a clean DMV record.
• Must be drug free; random drug testing required per DOT regulation.
• Must pass initial drug test/physical/background check at time of hire.

Full‑time, Sunday‑Saturday, 24 hours a day. Shifts rotate on a 5‑3 and 5‑2 schedule. Evenings and weekends are required. We run our trucks 24/7 to ensure our customers receive the best service.
