WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Dispatcher, based at our Phoenix branch, is a dynamic role. Reporting to our Transportation Manager, you’ll work to support the delivery and material handling teams for the AZ branches.

The position involves a high level of communication between sales staff and customers to achieve efficient coordination of loading, unloading and delivery of products to customers and job sites. The Dispatcher complies with safety programs, including all company, federal, state and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). activities related to the delivery of product including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; motivating, evaluating, rewarding and disciplining employees. Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Monitors comprehension and re-trains as necessary.

• Position Requirements:
  The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience working as a dispatcher. Other desired qualifications include:
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Between 2 and 5 years.
• Ability to communicate with customers.
• Ability to interface with vendors and other outside contractors.
• Familiar with DOT requirements.
• Familiar with the operation of heavy equipment, boom trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• Strong organizational and task management skill.
