Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to be on our transportation team! Working as a Full‑time Team Driver (DOT - CDL), you will be representing our fleet as you deliver from Fastenal Distribution Centers to branches and customer on‑site locations. You will operate a safe, well‑maintained and late model tractor trailer. Delivery trucks are pre‑loaded, in order of delivery, by warehouse employees prior to departure and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route;

most routes average 10‑12 stops. You will cross international and provincial borders while driving. Working in a team driving environment, you will run scheduled routes and will be paid for all miles and stops, regardless who is on duty. • Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner
• Utilizing a handheld scanner
• Unloading product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklift
• Interacting with our shipping and receiving departments
• Maintaining a clean work environment within our equipment
• Inspecting and reporting defects or issues in equipment
• Complying with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
• Possess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one
• Possess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Driver's Hours‑of‑Service
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
• Willingness to maintain a professional relationship with another team driver
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check
• Pass a background check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location
• Pass a sex offender registry check, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location

• Prior driving work experience
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Previous team driving experience
