Shipping Clerk

Assists shipping department, performing clerical duties involved in the shipping of materials.

Position Responsibilities:

Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, strong Excel knowledge
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to work alone or with others to complete tasks.
• Able to read/write English

Position

Qualifications:

Education:

• HS graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• No experience required, but 1+ years of experience record keeping and/or using internal computer systems to access and document shipping or receiving records preferred.

Work Environment and

Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
