Director of Player Personnel (Volunteer)
The Phoenix Pro League (PPL) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Director of Player Personnel to join our leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the competitive success of the league by overseeing player and coach recruitment, maintaining strong relationships with agents and management, and ensuring compliance with league standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep passion for basketball and community impact.
Responsibilities- Recruitment & Evaluation: Identify, recruit, and evaluate potential players and coaches for the Phoenix Pro League. Develop and maintain pipelines with local, national, and international basketball talent.
- Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact with player agents, managers, and representatives. Build strong professional relationships that enhance the reputation and growth of the league.
- League Operations Support: Collaborate with league leadership to finalize team rosters and coaching staff. Ensure all players and staff adhere to PPL internal policies, procedures, and code of conduct. Support smooth game-day operations through player coordination and availability.
Must be available to attend all 10 weeks of league play (including playoffs). Participate in preseason planning and recruitment events.
