Pilates Instructor

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct both private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment.
• Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs.
• Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members.
• Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1 year of personal training experience.
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment.

• Certified Pilates Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field.
