Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend-Focused)
Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid)
Comp: $125,000–$140,000 base + bonus + full benefits
The RoleWe’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernize and scale a high-traffic, cloud-native platform powering customer-facing and internal systems nationwide.
This is a hands‑on senior IC role with real ownership across backend architecture and application development. You’ll lead the design and implementation of AWS serverless services while contributing to modern React applications used for leasing, payments, and operational workflows.
You’ll work within a fast-moving, Agile engineering team focused on performance, scalability, and continuous delivery.
What You’ll Build- Serverless backend services using AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway
, and related services - Python‑based REST APIs and event‑driven workflows
- Modern, scalable React / ReactJS front‑end applications
- Secure, cloud‑native architectures designed for reliability and scale
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Ongoing platform modernization and legacy system refactoring
- 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Deep hands‑on experience with AWS serverless architectures
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud‑native design
- Experience working in Agile teams with modern CI/CD practices
- Build and scale AWS serverless systems at national scale
- High ownership with meaningful architectural influence
