PositionDescription
As a key team member, the ideal candidate will have experience developing full stack web applications. This individual will work closely with the product development manager and other team members in a lead role to design and develop software in both a web‑facing and server environment.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop and support highly scalable, reliable and feature rich transaction processing and reporting environments
- Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purposes of remediating issues, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Assist in the development and maintenance of code documentation
- Work with business and technical users to understand requirements
- Collaborate with technical resources (System Admins, DBAs, Security Admins)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with web interface design using React, Node, Type Script, CSS
- 3+ years of solid back‑end Java development experience
- Experience with SQL queries and relational databases
- Experience with test, build, and deployment tools (Jest, JUnit, Selenium, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins)
- Working knowledge and experience with Linux OS
- Ability to code and implement a variety of scripting solutions is a plus
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance in a collaborative team environment
- Self‑starter, with strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
- Working knowledge and experience within the Financial Payments industry
- Working knowledge and experience with Python
- Working knowledge and experience with Oracle PL/SQL
