Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quantexa Data Engineer to join their team. As a Quantexa Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the Risk and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quantexa Data Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC or NYC
What's the Job?- Design and build scalable Quantexa solutions for entity resolution, network analytics, and risk detection.
- Implement custom scoring models and rules for AML, fraud detection, KYC/CDD, and credit risk management.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines on GCP using Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Design and tune Elasticsearch indices for high-performance entity and network search.
- Deploy and operate Quantexa components on GCP, monitor performance, and troubleshoot pipelines for continuous improvement.
- 3–7+ years of experience in software or data engineering roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Quantexa platform, including entity resolution, scoring rules, and network building.
- Proficiency in Scala or Java programming, with a solid understanding of collections, concurrency, and functional patterns.
- Expertise in GCP big data tools such as Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, including schema design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
