Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Java Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ
. You will deliver end-to-end software solutions from inception to production while building scalable applications and APIs.
Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Implement and optimize APIs and database solutions leveraging Postgre
SQL, Mongo
DB, and Redis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions from inception to production.
- Ensure code quality and reliability through CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions) and version control tools like Git Hub and Bitbucket.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, applying creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Mentor and guide team members, contributing to platform architecture and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot, with experience in building scalable applications and APIs.
- Practical experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Git Hub Actions), version control systems (Git Hub, Bitbucket), and databases such as Postgre
SQL, Mongo
DB, and Redis.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
