Job Title:
Java Developer Architect
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer Architect for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will define end-to-end architecture for Java-based applications and lead API-led integrations with internal and external systems.
Rate Range$45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Design and govern RESTful APIs (and Graph
QL if applicable) using best practices such as OpenAPI/Swagger. - Architect microservices-based systems leveraging Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for modular and resilient solutions.
- Lead integration efforts with internal/external systems and third-party services, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Establish standards for API security, versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management to maintain compliance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments, while mentoring developers and reviewing designs for architectural compliance.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3–4 years in an architectural role.
- Strong expertise in designing RESTful APIs and architecting microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience in API-led integration, security standards, and CI/CD pipeline collaboration for cloud deployments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
