Senior Java Developer
Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Java Developer who excels in Generative AI and has hands‑on experience with Git Hub Copilot to join a forward‑thinking team based in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. Position OverviewKey Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and launch Java applications integrated with Generative AI technologies
- Utilize Git Hub Copilot to accelerate coding efficiency and enhance code standards, while mentoring colleagues on best practices
- Work closely with AI specialists and data scientists to embed AI models and algorithms into software products
- Design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that meet business needs
- Maintain application performance, security, and reliability throughout their lifecycle
- Perform code evaluations, offering constructive critiques and support to junior team members
- Keep up‑to‑date with the latest AI and software development trends to foster innovation
- Partner with cross‑disciplinary teams to establish project goals, scope, and deliverables
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience with AI Code Generators, AWS Sagemaker, Spring AI, Harness, Postgres, Mongo
DB, and Git Hub Copilot - At least 8 to 10 years of solid Java development experience with a portfolio of successful projects
- In‑depth knowledge of Generative AI frameworks and applications
- Skilled in leveraging Git Hub Copilot and other AI‑driven development tools to optimize coding
- Strong command of the Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their AI offerings
- Proficient in database design, management, and SQL (MySQL, Postgre
SQL, etc.) - Excellent problem‑solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to quality
- Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
