Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth)

Jerry.ai is looking for a Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth) to help scale our core insurance business. In early 2024 we achieved profitability and now aim to scale from 5M to 50M customers, becoming a $10B business. This high‑visibility role reports directly to the VP of Insurance Operations and owns the systems, strategy, and execution behind Jerry’s quoting engine, automation infrastructure, and carrier performance, working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and analytics to create a seamless user experience and drive critical outcomes such as loss ratio, retention, and conversion.

We have funded $240M, grown revenue 60X, and built a talented team of 225 across six countries. Jerry.ai currently serves over five million customers and is expanding across a $2T U.S. market with services including insurance, financing, maintenance, safety, repairs, and more.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, etc)
• 7+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, Boston Consulting Group preferred)
• Track record of hiring and managing high‑performing teams

• You have a structured framework for problem‑solving and live by first principles
• You are comfortable communicating with audiences ranging from technical stakeholders to business partners and the company’s C‑suite
• You set a very high bar for yourself and for your team, and you constantly push that bar higher in pursuit of excellence

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this job posting, determined based on job‑related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges are market‑dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, compensation may include opportunities for equity grants.
