Job SummaryWe are seeking a full‑time Maintenance Worker to join the Plant Operations team Maintenance Worker is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment, systems, and physical structures within the facility, with a focus on AC and electrical repairs.
Job Qualifications- Experience with large boilers, chillers, and compressors, all controlled by a Building Automation System (BAS) and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) system.
- A Level One Fingerprint Card is required
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Alerton and JCI (Metasys) BAS/DDC systems.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and identify necessary repairs for components controlled by BAS/DDC systems.
- Previous maintenance experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical, electronic (analog and digital), pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Capable of performing operator and preventive maintenance as specified by manufacturers, including adjustments to preventive maintenance intervals based on failure rate monitoring.
- Ability to conduct both simple and complex repairs to equipment and systems as appropriate.
- HVAC experience required.
- An EPA License is highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate work records for compliance.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Monitor and adjust boilers, chillers, and compressors to ensure optimal function.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including those under BAS/DDC control.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and policies.
- Coordinate with other facility staff to support building operations.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that spans the range from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix, in good faith, believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
