PCS is seeking aSeasoned Commercial Low Voltage Technician with extensive hands‑on experience installing, troubleshooting, and servicing low‑voltage systems in commercial environments. The ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable, self‑motivated, and able to run projects or work independently while maintaining strong professionalism on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low‑voltage cabling including Cat5e, Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic, coax, and related infrastructure.
  • Access control
  • CCTV and surveillance systems
  • Network equipment and telecommunications hardware
  • Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and spec sheets.
  • Lead or support field crews, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Document work performed, create as‑built notes, and complete jobsite paperwork in app.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
  • Represent PCS with professionalism, strong communication, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial low‑voltage experience required.
  • Strong proficiency with cable pathways, labeling standards, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with systems from major manufacturers is a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues without supervision.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/TIA cabling standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in confined areas as needed.
  • BICSI, OSHA 10, manufacturer certifications, or similar credentials are a strong advantage.
