Tank Welded Foreman Position The MMI Foreman position is a highly skilled and experienced professional who is responsible for supervising the construction and maintenance activities of a project team. The MMI Forman is responsible at the jobsite for overseeing the construction of the tank and maintenance of related equipment.

The foreman insures that all safety procedures are followed, and coordinates the work of other MMI personnel. This person must also possess a high degree of technical knowledge in all aspects of tank erecting and be able to work well with others. Understanding of the job means that work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, while reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibility

Summary:

* Insure that all projects are carried out in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
* Compliance with company procedures and policies.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the job site.
* Plan and layout work to be done.
* Develop and review specifications for the projects.
* Inspect materials, tools and equipment to insure they meet safety standards.
* Train and mentor new workers.
* Identify and report any potential safety hazards on the job site.
* Monitor progress of projects and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
* Resolve any disputes or issues between workers on the job site.
* Manage supplies and materials to insure they are used efficiently.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and blueprints. Requirements: *

Crane NCCCO Card
* Must pass 2G/3G/4G weld test in Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW).
* Eligible to work in the US with a valid driver's license
* Must pass a pre-employment / random alcohol and drug screens.
