ICON Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial projects throughout the Phoenix metro area. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for daily jobsite execution, safety, quality, and productivity. The Electrical Foreman serves as the critical link between the field and project leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and coordinate electricians on active job sites
- Plan and direct daily work activities, manpower, and material needs
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA standards, and ICON safety policies
- Review drawings and specifications; plan upcoming work and milestones
- Coordinate with General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades
- Participate in jobsite coordination meetings as ICON’s field representative
- Develop short‑term plans (weekly and 3‑week look‑ahead schedules) to maintain progress
Order materials and manage tools, equipment, and crew productivity - Track job progress and communicate updates, risks, or delays to the Project Manager and Superintendent
- Perform daily quality checks and address issues proactively
- Complete required documentation, including daily logs, timekeeping, and safety paperwork
- Mentor apprentices and journeymen; help develop the next generation of field leaders
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience
- Minimum 1 year of foreman or lead electrician experience managing crews of 5+
- OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and jobsite best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and specifications
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to plan ahead in a fast‑paced environment
