Concrete Foreman

A prominent specialty contracting firm, serving a broad national clientele, specializes in transformative upgrades for large-scale commercial and industrial facilities. As their infrastructure project load grows, they're seeking a Concrete Foreman who excels at leading teams and tackling tough jobs on-site. You will run a small crew responsible for saw-cutting, trench excavation, and slab restoration that supports new electrical conduit installations, all while championing an uncompromising safety culture.

• Plan each day’s production goals, assign tasks to a 3–5 person crew, and drive quality and schedule performance.
• Take cues from layout marks and the superintendent, then oversee cutting, demolition, digging, and cleanup while safeguarding existing infrastructure.
• Operate or supervise skid steers, mini excavators, and related equipment to excavate, grade, backfill, and compact trenches to specification.
• Verify lift thickness, moisture content, and compaction density to deliver a stable base ready for concrete replacement.
• Direct forming, doweling, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing so repaired areas match adjoining slabs in slope, texture, and appearance.
• Execute jointing and control cuts that eliminate trip hazards and extend slab life.
• Enforce a zero-incident culture through silica mitigation, PPE compliance, barricading, traffic control, and daily toolbox talks.
• Track crew hours, material usage, equipment status, and report progress to project leadership.

• 8+ years of concrete cutting, placement, and finishing experience, including 2+ years leading field crews.
• Mastery of walk-behind saws, skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and common concrete hand tools.
• Proven ability to excavate around live utilities without damage.
• Solid grade-checking skills using stringline, laser, and levels.
• Familiarity with reinforcing practices and ACI finishing standards.
• Current driver’s license plus the ability to pass background and drug screening.
