Our operations heavily rely on water and fuel every day. It’s your duty as a Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance specialist to manage the plumbing, liquid fuel storage, gas distribution and wastewater collection systems on bases. You’ll possess highly specialized knowledge and skills in the construction and operation of fire suppression systems that keep our bases operationally sound and able to uphold our high environmental standards.

• Install water, fire and natural gas suppression systems.
• Monitor operations to comply with local, state, federal and DoD standards.
• Operate and install water treatment equipment.
• Replace and repair defective system components.

• HS diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Completion of courses in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, earth sciences, drawing and specification use, and shop mechanics is desirable.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license to operate a government vehicle.
• ASVAB score of 47 on Mechanical and 28 on Electrical
• Freedom from fear of confined spaces (claustrophobia)
• Freedom from fear of heights (acrophobia)
