Evening​/Night Heavy Duty Mechanic​/Field Technician

We are seeking a motivated Evening/Night Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Field Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines in our fleet of equipment. Five or more years of HD experience in the field is required and a clean MVR is necessary.

1:30p-11pm (or later if/when work permits), Monday-Friday with two Saturdays a month required

• Climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, and frequent lifting of tires 50lbs+
• Safety at all times while working on equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PM) and repairs on all equipment, including tractors, trailers, mixers, dump trucks, loaders, skid steers and various other yellow iron
• Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose minor and/or major complex repairs for all equipment
• Disassemble, repair and re-assemble heavy truck and trailer components, including but not limited to mixers, diesel engines, transmissions, axles and other components or systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Hourly pay between $35-$45/hr depending on experience

• 3-5 years of field heavy duty diesel mechanic experience, particularly with mixers
• Strong experience in after treatment, engine rebuild, and diagnostic
• Proficient with Mack trucks
• Must be able to work an evening/night shift starting at 1:30p and be willing to work at least 2 Saturdays a month
• Basic to intermediate electrical experience
• Diagnostic software experience required such as Tech Tool, J Pro, Cummins
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid license and a clean MVR
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass a background check
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Safety conscious
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime, nights and/or weekends as needed
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Be a self-starter
