Mobile Mechanic

Overview

DBA Construction, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing various Heavy equipment/trucks and vehicle systems.

• Inspect/repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of trucks.
• Repair experience with various CAT earthmoving and other related heavy equipment.
• Use tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, and hoists, to repair trucks while following safety procedures.
• Perform routine heavy equipment maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
• Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devices such as motor analyzers and handheld computers to determine how to address problems.

• Previous experience as a Heavy diesel/truck mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
