• Level I – Must be able to achieve many objectives of this position. Requires some amount of timely supervision to ensure the proper tasks are being accomplished and that communication is adequate, timely, in the correct manner (i.e. verbal, written, email, etc.)
• Level II - Consistently achieves all the objectives of this position. This individual also provides mentoring and direct day-to-day supervision to level I positions.
• Senior - Highly experienced in the position. Has advanced skills at laying out and managing others. Has a good understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems in a building and how low-voltage security and special systems integrate to them. Understands basic theory behind building systems operations and can assist in troubleshooting both installation and operation.

• Install conduit, cabling, and low-voltage security devices.
• Work closely with Lead Installers and other team members to ensure that installations meet safety standards and client specifications
• Pay attention to detail and adhere to timelines
• Deliver high-quality construction services that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Understand construction practices and follow safety protocols diligently
• Use tools and equipment effectively, requiring both technical skills and a commitment to safety. Attention to detail is critical, as installers must ensure that all materials are installed correctly and meet quality standards
• Interpret Climatec’s and other’s drawings to productively install low-voltage security installations.
• Assist as required troubleshooting efforts during either the static or dynamic start up or commissioning of low-voltage security and special systems.
• Assist in preparing of As-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
• Provide up-to-date As-built information as required including locations for sensors, panels, database, code, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• 2+ years’ experience with Building Automation Systems and/or 2+ years of Commercial Electrical installations experience.
• An understanding of basic computer operation.
• An understanding of the construction industry including safety, electrical codes, etc.
• Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• An ability to understand empathetically the issues and perceptions others have and to creatively and successfully work through these issues to achieve a successful outcome and customer and employee satisfaction.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Have a valid driving license.

• 3+ years’ experience with Building Automation Systems and/or 3+ years of Commercial Electrical installations experience.
