Metal Roofer

We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our metal roofing team. The ideal candidate should possess over one year of experience in metal roofing. This role involves working collaboratively within a team of 3-4 technicians to install and repair metal roofing systems, perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, and assist with additional tasks as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

• Collaborate with a team of 3-4 technicians to install and repair metal roofing systems.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on various building structures.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support project completion.
• Lead a team effectively by demonstrating strong leadership skills.

• 1+ years of experience in metal roofing as a laborer.
• 4+ years of experience in metal roofing as a journeyman.
• Proficiency in sheet metal, metal panels, and roofing fabrication & installation.
• Specialization in Edge Metal and Coping Metal.
• Experience with single-ply roofing systems, standing seam, and architectural metal systems.
• Knowledge of architectural cladding, wall panels, ACM (Aluminum Composite Material), and Insulated Metal Panel (IMP).
• Blueprint reading and leadership development skills.
• Adherence to safety procedures.

• Ability to follow safety regulations diligently.
• Willingness to lead others and oversee projects efficiently.
• Proficiency in carrying and using tools correctly.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and materials.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions and at heights.
• Eagerness to learn on the job.

This position offers a six-month contract with the potential to hire, featuring regular reviews at 30, 60, 90, and 180 days, as well as at one year. Enjoy a Monday to Saturday work schedule with ample overtime opportunities. Work with one of the largest roofing companies in the country with a significant backlog of work. Qualified candidates may operate a company truck.

The work environment includes new construction projects focused on flat roofs only. Employees are expected to work in all weather conditions with shifts from 6am to 5pm, and occasionally ending h project team consists of four members.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix,AZ.
