Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman at Sunstate Mechanical Services

Hourly Rate: $32-45(DOE)

Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Phoenix Area (sites will vary based on the job).

• You must be eligible to work in the U.S
• You must be able to pass a drug test.
• You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.
• You must have your own tool kit.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

• Responsible for teaching apprentices.
• Manage daily labor and productivity while giving clear objectives and timelines.
• Adhere and enforce safety policy and immediately correct any non-compliance.
• Effectively listen to employee concerns and guide them towards resolutions.
• Immediately report all work-related injuries and complete required report.
• Complete daily paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle during work hours.
• Inventory and track all product delivered to job site and be aware of all materials on site at all times.
• Monitor and track all material on backorder.
• Responsible for mark‑out/layout of all systems and product as indicated in the contract documents and as indicated on coordination drawings provided by the office.
• Responsible for all on‑site project documentation (Time Sheets, Daily Logs, Weekly Safety, Test Reports, Pictures, Etc.).
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications.
• Operate various tools and machinery such as forklift, cleat formers, bar folders, shears, roll former, band saw, rotary machine, flangers, notchers etc, welders etc.
• Install, alter, fabrication, and repair sheet metal products, equipment ducts, and hoods for HVAC systems.
• Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components.
• Be able to lead and manage the job with dedicated to moderate support from project management team.
