The Opportunity

We are seeking an entry‑level Cooling Tower Technician to perform cooling tower repairs and maintenance. An ideal candidate will be customer‑service oriented and work well with others.

Compensation: $25–$28 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide a variety of preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, etc. on cooling towers and other HVAC equipment
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
  • Execute specific preventative tasks such as belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment
  • Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors, and owners
  • Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Submit required paperwork to the Service Coordinator in a timely manner
  • Maintain safety on a daily basis and ensure all safety measures are taken at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Show flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
Required Profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Service Helper or Service Technician in a residential or commercial environment (helpful)
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; minimum age 25 for insurance purposes
  • OSHA 10 Training a plus
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft 365 and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad)
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions including mechanical equipment rooms, noisy environments, extreme weather, high voltage, and at elevated heights
  • Capable of climbing, crawling, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds frequently
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while balancing multiple varied duties

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write correspondence; effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions; solve problems involving concrete variables; mentally prioritize multiple tasks.

Environmental Requirements

Must work in a field environment at multiple customer sites daily.

Physical Demands

Regular use of hands to operate a computer keyboard, reach with hands and arms; frequently stand, walk, sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds frequently. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
