Job Title:
Aircraft Mechanic
Join our team as an Aircraft Mechanic at a Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station, specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance. We service a wide range of aircraft, from narrow to wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul, and are home to one of the largest storage and reclamation operations globally.
ResponsibilitiesResearch technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company tools and equipment in compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and internal policies.
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and functional components such as rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
Read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines’ maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine repair or replacement methods for malfunctioning or damaged components.
Complete appropriate documentation when removing units from aircraft or engines, including identification, inspections, routing tags, and entries in the Component Removal Log.
Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or defects.
Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install engines in aircraft.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
Experience with commercial aircraft larger than a CRJ 900, especially Boeing 777 and Airbus models.
Possession of an Airframe license is required.
2-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
A&P license preferred.
Basic set of tools required, properly etched before the first day on site.

Work EnvironmentWork in an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and materials identified on Safety Data Sheets. The role involves physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Operate equipment like tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, and test equipment. Protective equipment including goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses is required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
