Responsibilities:
- Keep work area clean and organized following all OSHA policies and procedures during the use and movement of power, heavy and industrial equipment.
- Maintain repair shop tools and assist associates on the proper way to use them.
- Possess a general understanding of the warehouse, it's departments, department management and logistical practice.
- Matches building materials to use and space for installation accuracy. Preparing, laying out, cutting and fabricating metal components.
- Welding components in a flat, vertical and overhead position.
- Creates materials that fit expectations, working from technical engineering drawings if necessary.
- Help keep repair practical, cost effective and lasting.
- Entry level experience welding with Mild Steel and Metal Inert Gas-MIG
- Entry level experience in woodwork -, create, repair, build, etc.
- The ability to utilize skills in other trades such as plumbing, painting and tiling.
- Ability to understand and execute a wide variety of construction instructions, 2D and 3D.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
