Job Details

Schedule: Flexibility required (on‑call style position) 40‑60 hrs/week (average 50)

Compensation: Starting at $30/hr (plus 1.5× for overtime)

Company

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a highly skilled maintenance mechanic or technician with at least 3‑5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, and hands‑on knowledge of electrical systems (110 V‑480 V). In this role you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, compressors, motors and other equipment critical to our environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair pumps (diaphragm, Gorman‑Rupp), motors, air compressors, and other plant equipment.
  • Support plant operators to ensure smooth operations and efficient production output.
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and process‑related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards, and use required PPE.
  • Conduct plumbing and electrical installations and repairs.
Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years in mechanical maintenance, ideally in industrial, water, or wastewater settings.
  • Strong aptitude for repairing pumps, valves, motors, and industrial equipment.
  • Plumbing and electrical experience required; knowledge of PLC a bonus.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing electrical issues with test meters and diagnostic equipment.
  • Welding experience, HVAC systems, and boiler knowledge are valuable but not mandatory.
  • HVAC or boiler certifications are a plus.
