ELM Utility Services is offering a Utility Locate Technician in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves ensuring gas, electric, and communication systems are dependable and well‑maintained by marking underground utilities to avoid damage during excavation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with a company‑provided vehicle as a mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day.
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers.
• Use your mobile work system to receive daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED & at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Safety‑Sensitive DOT position; must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations; using marijuana (medical or recreational) prohibited.
