Overview

As a Patch Employee-Owner at Suntec, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and repairing structural and industrial needs, and other elements across a variety of job sites. This position demands flexibility, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic. The role is based on real-world experience and the evolving needs of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patching work on:
    • Structural concrete
    • Tilt-up panels
    • Epoxy tilt brace patches
  • Work safely at various heights, including:
    • Leading edges of structural jobs
    • On aerial and scissor lifts
  • Grind and work with materials that may produce silica dust — respirator use is required, and you must be clean-shaven where the mask seals at all times.
  • Fit and Pulmonary test are required for using respirators
  • Wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) throughout the workday.
  • Travel between multiple job sites as needed or remain on a single job site for extended periods (typically 3–6 months), depending on project needs.
Work Environment
  • Physically demanding and often exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Frequent use of hand tools and power tools
  • Regular exposure to dust and noise
  • Requires climbing, lifting, and standing for long periods.
  • Working in uncomfortable positions, including frequent kneeling during floor repairs and patch work
  • Working close to leading edges and off ladders, requiring strong situational awareness and strict adherence to fall protection protocols.
