As a Security Officer - Full Time Rover Patrol in Phoenix, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and support access control and badge activity as needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and other security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and directional guidance in a tech-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

• At least 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
