The Security Guard (Unarmed) is responsible for security services for securing and patrolling NATIVE HEALTH facilities. Under general supervision, the guard guards and monitors all buildings and properties, disposes of trash and other debris daily, maintains a visible presence to prevent theft, vandalism, and property destruction, and assists with maintaining and stocking agency materials at each site daily. The guard works within a team to address property needs, maintenance, and daily upkeep, requiring vigilant observation, quick response, and adherence to established security protocols.

- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, including standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of private property and trespassing laws
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Security Guard Card or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Prior security experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- OSHA training required annually
- Valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license within 30 days of hire (if out of state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years, no more than two at‑fault accidents in the last three years, and must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy
- Pass criminal background check and obtain Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 calendar days and retain valid card while employed
- Pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment
- Provide updated immunization (IZ) record at time of employment
- Current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report at time of employment and annual update
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 calendar days and maintain certification during employment
